La Belle Assiette is the European leader in a revolution in the catering industry. We help individuals and companies host great events by booking dining experiences with our professional Chefs. We operate a "taxonomy-driven" marketplace which lets Chefs sell their services (fine dining, cocktails, cooking classes, personal Chef) and clients book securely online.
Since 2013, La Belle Assiette offers Chefs, on top of client bookings, all the tools they need so they can manage their business online (quotes, billing, planning, CRM...).
Our service is now available in 6 countries, with almost 700 Chefs.
We are a small team of 23, with an entrepreneurial, young, hard-working and extremely motivated culture.
Our company was voted Best E-Commerce Innovation by the Fevad next to Amazon, Voyages-SNCF and Sarenza. We also won the Push Forward contest organised by l'Express Group and Next Generation Leader by TIME. Last February we won the IMC Awards Argent Start up.
Last October, La Belle Assiette raised 1.7m$ with several of France's top investors, including Nicolas Brusson (BlaBlaCar's cofounder), Thibaud Elzière (founder of Fotolia and eFounders), Nicolas Bourdin (founder of Extia), the three founders of l'Atelier des Chefs (Europe's largest cooking classes company) and Kima Ventures, led by Xavier Niel and Jeremie Berrebi.
