THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO IN NUTSHELL!

The Green Science revolution has begun in order to offer an augmented performance for the new products with the L’Oréal guarantee of Safety products in this new area.

We need someone who set up a new strategy for the Statistical Analyses for the Safety evaluation of the new ingredients bring by the Green Science

Work on design and capability of methods/protocols (Design of experiment, qualification of methods)
Work on knowledge extraction (new hypotheses on mechanisms of action) thanks to exploratory analyzes, from descriptive to multivariate exploratory and predictive analyzes -unsupervised and supervised methodologies) using factorial methods and Bayesian networks, and more generally machine learning.
Conduct “data visualization and analytics” capacity building (methods and tools) for non-statisticians within L’Oréal R&I.

IF YOU WANT TO GO FURTHER IN DETAILS, THIS IS WHAT YOU COULD EXPECT TO DO

You will be essentially interacting with L’Oréal Research & Innovation, on data strategy and data analysis related to safety endpoints.

Analyze data and interpret results to meet objectives of the project; generate internal reports to effectively communicate results to the project team, management, regulatory agencies, or internal individual investigators:

Involved in design for key projects: ensure that the “client” have optimal protocols (DOE, qualification of methods (precision and trueness of measurements)
Involved in exploratory analyzes (using and/or developing algorithm when necessary)
Involved in development, promotion, and deployment of predictive models.

Provide responses to queries related to study design, analysis, and interpretation made by the experts, regulatory agencies, and/or investigators.
Work with team leader, and serve as statistical expert and representative in cross-functional teams (biologists, chemists, toxicologists, informaticians, data managers)
Work with team members and collaborate with researchers on safety characterization and on prediction evaluation.
Participate in L’Oréal Research worldwide activities for innovative methods and applications in the field of data analyze.

Secondly, in this specific position, it will be important for you to have significant experience in:

Statistical inference, exploratory methods (Clustering/PCA/K-means/ correlation networks…), PLS approaches, Bayesian inference & networks, ensemble learning, machine learning.
Extensive experience in statistical programming using R and python frameworks.
High oral and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively with different functional background. Significant experience in managing projects with complex study designs and multiple objectives.
Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment, and in a collaborative way.

Requirement:

Min Master degree in Statistics / biostatistics or related discipline with a minimum of 5-6 years’ relevant experience.

Have in mind that the more you add mandatory skills, the more candidate will be discouraged. Keep it simple And finally, you may not be an expert with all requirements listed below, however, you must show great curiosity in understanding the non-mastered technologies
